About Me

-Take 3-

This is the third time I've tried to write an "about me" page. It's posing some issues mostly because when I read back over my life summed up in a few sentances it bores the shit out of me. Needless to say, highlighting & deleting text is far less satisfying than agressivly crumpling up paper and throwing it away.

See this, this is me. .

I like that photo, although it's cropped. I cut out my friend Zack because he took up too much space. Not because he's fat - just because - well I dunno. I'm sure if I was a photography buff I'd have the proper term to describe it. He was just more centered / forward in the field of view... did that make sense?

Ok, so me me me, a big steaming pile of me. I'm a 21 year old student juuusssttt finishing up my 4th year at the University of Ottawa taking a honors bachelor of Health Sci with a minor specialization in bull-shitting essaying the day before they're due.

I'd love to be able to say definitively what type of content I'll be posting in this blog. It would be nice to come out and and go "I will be covering topics related to stamp collecting including history, pricing, and authenticity verification." I don't do this mostly because fuck stamp collecting, that's why. (Full disclosure: I used to have a stamp collection).

The reality is I have no idea what I'm going to be writing about. Every day I come across new things I am interested in. Music, food, relationships, sports, current events, nothing is really off limits. One thing you can always be sure of is that I'll have an opinion on the topic - whatever it may be.

So enjoy! Read along, share comments, let me know your thoughts. I'm looking to put out some solid content to the world and hopefully find some in return. To kick things off, here's an adorable picture of me as a kid followed by some of my favs!
